  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Click Activity in the upper-left corner
  3. Click the three-dot icon next to Activity and select Notification Settings
  4. In the General section:
    • Ensure “Mute all notifications” is turned off
  5. In the Chat and Channels section:
    • Set “Chat message notifications” to “Show in banner”
